Camping "The Florida and the mouth" is located within Eastern Pyrenees, in Catalan land between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, in Occitania, a land with a rich history and culture. With Canet and Argelès, Le Barcarès is one of the three large seaside resorts in the Occitanie Region. The city is stuck on a narrow strip of land, on the sea. Visit the Church of the Assumption, go to the  the Lydia, a liner voluntarily silted up, transformed into a museum, then into a nightclub and casino, it has become over time an original emblem of the city!

Perpignan, city of art and history for its historical heritage is an enchantment, discover through the shaded streets and alleys its churches, convents, its many fountains, and patios.

Within 2 hours of Barcelona, this city will surprise you, there is time to do and see! 

The Citadel and the historic center:  the old citadel of Perpignan and the old fortifications built around the royal castle date from the beginning of the 14th century. 

Perpignan was the scene of many battles between French and Spanish, so it protected itself from thick fortifications, in the shape of a star, designed by the famous military architect, Vauban and were built from the 13th to the 16th centuries. The Citadel, on the other hand, is a gigantic fortified enclosure, which protected the Palace of the Kings of Majorca, now transformed into  military barracks. Medieval fortifications, only the Castillet and the Porte Notre-Dame resisted. Go up to the keep of Castillet, gate of the old town and admire the view over the city. 

Stroll through the alleys of the city center and immerse yourself in the Catalan way of life. 

Have a coffee in front of the Sea Lodge, building  Gothic built between the 14th and 16th centuries, which now houses the Town Hall and the Palace of Justice.

Collioure

Visit this picturesque village, pearl of the ruddy coast, and discover the Catalan culture!  It is a "postcard" destination that inspired and still inspires many painters today. The Royal Castle, by the sea, built in the 7th century, is undoubtedly the emblem of the city! From the castle, admire the landscape, the port and its fishing boats, the small pebble beaches, the colorful facades of the old town and the incomparable bell tower with a pink dome. The Notre-Dame-des-Anges church, which seems to have been laid on the beach! Not to be missed!  

Villefranche-de-Conflent

Considered one of the most beautiful villages in France, it is one of the favorite medieval villages for tourists! Discover objects from the Middle Ages and witches offered in art and souvenir shops. Visit Fort Liberia which overlooks the village and spot the Canigou, sacred mountain of the Catalans, which  culminates at 2 meters above sea level.
