To browse the history of Normandy, we recommend Caen with the Ducal Castle founded around 1060 by William the Conqueror but also the Peace Memorial. Another essential Cotentin town, Cherbourg, its famous port and its Cité de la Mer to explore the marine world, a guaranteed rewarding day.
